RADIO

Each  radio station in the UK has requirements in respect of its music and local content, such as news, speech levels etc. These requirements are set out in the station "Format", a document issued by Ofcom, the UK’s radio regulator. This Public File contains details of the elements that Ofcom regulate, such as music tracks, local news etc. It is intended to give you a better understanding of our output and what we are doing for our local community. Although we are not strictly regulated by Ofcom we shared this file with the public so you can get a better understanding of us in terms of programming and a legal perspective.

News bulletin schedule
Norton Hill Radio broadcasts a range of world, UK and local news. The news bulletins are recorded hourly and are played out at :30 past each  hour, every day.

The programme schedule
Details of Norton Hill Radio's programmes can be found on the schedule. This includes details of all the shows for the coming week as well as quick links to all the DJ pages.

The average number of hours of automated programming within weekday daytimes and within daytimes on Saturdays and Sundays.
The vast majority of our output is automated through our own in-house automation system, live programs are broadcast weekdays from 12:40-13:45 and 15:25-16:25

Licence agreement

Norton Hill Radio, being an internet radio station, does not have to adhere to agreements set by OfCom. However due to the station playing copyrighted music- Norton Hill Radio must receive a music license.
